Spent two months trying to find the last piece for my vintage camera collection

I was missing the original leather case for a 1968 Pentax Spotmatic and it took forever to track one down that wasn't totally trashed. Finally found a decent one on a local buy/sell group for $25. Anyone else have a 'white whale' item that took way too long to find?

Got obsessed with finding the original box for my old Tamagotchi. Drove to three different flea markets before some guy just gave it to me for free.

That "drove to three different flea markets" part is the real story here. Classic collector behavior, @annaw73. The free box from some random guy just proves how weird this hobby gets. You hunt for weeks then the thing just falls in your lap.
