Vent: My "mint condition" comic book collection was a lie
I bought a set of 90s X-Men comics from a guy on Facebook Marketplace last month. He swore they were all bagged and boarded since day one. Got them home and half of them have brittle pages and one has a coffee ring on the cover. That $150 lesson taught me to always inspect in person. Anyone else get burned by a seller hyping up their collection?

That $150 for brittle pages though. I would have been sick right there in the driveway if I saw coffee ring on a cover after being told they were pristine. Guess that bag and board setup didn't come with a spill-proof lid either.

Laughing at the "bagged and boarded since day one" claim as you peel a coffee ring off the cover. Guess the bag didn't come with a lid.
