Got a 2am warning from a stranger in a parking lot, saved my accounts

Last month at a 24hr Walmart in Tulsa, this older guy saw me typing my banking password into my phone while standing by my truck. He walked over and said, 'you know shoulder surfing is still the easiest hack, right?' I laughed it off, but he showed me a little card with a fake ATM overlay he'd pulled off a pump earlier that week. That one minute conversation made me change my whole routine, now I do all sensitive logins inside my cab with the windows up. It also pushed me to turn on 2FA for my email and tree service payroll, which took about 20 minutes total. Has anyone else had a random encounter like that that actually changed how you handle passwords?
