I thought those free USB condom things were junk, until my hotel in Dallas
Got a 4 pack of those little USB data blockers for $9 before a work trip and honestly figured they were gimmicks. Then the front desk guy at my hotel in Dallas mentioned they had a skimmer incident on their lobby charging station 3 weeks earlier, so I used one on my phone and it charged fine with zero data prompts. Anyone actually verify these things block the data pins, or am I just trusting a $2 piece of plastic?
