Password manager back in 2012 vs now, night and day
Back in 2012 I kept a spreadsheet with all my logins, and one leak from a gaming forum let someone reset my bank password in under an hour. Switched to a password manager after that, but the old desktop version was clunky and syncing meant plugging in a USB drive every week. Now everything auto-fills across my phone and laptop in seconds, but I still get paranoid about the master password itself, anyone else feel like that single key is the real weak spot?

That master password thing gets me too. One time I locked myself out of my own phone for a week cause I changed the master password and immediately forgot it, had to go through some ridiculous recovery process with backup codes printed on a piece of paper. Now I keep the master password on a sticky note hidden in a book on my shelf, which feels dumb but honestly works better than my brain.
