Pro tip: I finally got my mom to stop clicking phishing links

She kept falling for those fake 'Amazon delivery problem' emails. I set up a rule in her Gmail to automatically send any email with the word 'invoice' in the subject to a separate folder for me to check first. After a month, she hasn't clicked a single bad link. What other simple filters have you guys set up for family members?

Nice! Honestly, I did the same thing with "password" for my dad. It catches so many fake security alerts. He hasn't asked me about a weird email in ages.

Adding "invoice" and "payment" to the filter list works great too. It stops those fake shipping notices and PayPal scams. @kellyjones has the right idea with "urgent". My rule also blocks "action required" and "immediate attention". It's amazing how much junk that catches before it even hits the inbox.

Blocked anything with "urgent" in the subject line too.
