Was dead set against password managers until my coworker proved me wrong

I always thought they were a security risk, but last month our IT guy showed me how his LastPass caught a phishing link that would've wiped his account. He pulled up the log and there it was, a fake Google login trying to steal his creds. Anyone else had a change of heart on these things?

And this whole thing with @faithcampbell asking about exporting passwords, it's like we've gotten so used to convenience winning over caution that we don't stop to think. I've noticed that same pattern with my mom forgetting her Netflix password every month - we'd rather risk a big leak than deal with a little bit of remembering things day to day. That phishing catch really drove home that these tools are just like any other utility, where you trade a small risk for a huge safety net.

Oh wow, that phishing thing is wild! Did your coworker show you how easy it is to export all your passwords if you ever needed to switch managers?

Wait wait wait... export all your passwords? Like in one go? That can't be right, can it? That sounds like a security nightmare waiting to happen!
