Just realized my train commute is costing me $180 more per month than I thought
I was checking my transit card history last night and added up all the extra rides I take when I miss my express train. Turns out I buy a single ride ticket about 6 times a month because I'm too impatient to wait 15 minutes for the next one. Those $3 tickets add up way faster than I expected. Anyone else ever calculate the real cost of their lazy commuting habits?

@jamie770 nailed it with "lazy tax." I finally added up what I spend on parking at the station because I'm always running late, and it's honestly Embarrassing. That "I'll just pay five bucks to save ten minutes" mindset ends up costing me like $80 a month.

Yeah, nothing says "adulting" like paying extra just 'cause you can't find your keys...
