Took a different street to avoid roadwork and saw something wild
I mean, I was just trying to get around a lane closure on Maple Ave, so I cut through the old industrial park. Idk, maybe it's just me, but I saw a full grown deer just standing there, calm as anything, next to a dumpster at 7:30 AM. Has anyone else ever seen wildlife in a weird spot like that on their drive?

Saw a full grown deer next to a dumpster, that's nothing. I read a news story last year about a moose that wandered into a car dealership lot and just hung out between the minivans for hours. It makes you realize how much their space is getting squeezed. They have to go somewhere, so they end up in our parking lots and industrial parks. Your deer was probably just taking a breather before moving on. It's getting more common everywhere.
