Took the bus instead of driving for a week and saw my blood pressure drop 15 points
I drive 45 minutes each way to my pest control routes in Dayton. Last month my doctor told me my BP was creeping up. My wife suggested I try the park and ride bus for a week. After just 5 days, my morning readings went from 138 to 123. Has anyone else seen their health improve just by ditching the wheel for a few days?

and that's exactly what i've been seeing too. it's like once you peel back one stressful thing in your routine, a bunch of other small stuff starts falling into place. i used to get so wound up in traffic that i'd skip breakfast and then crush a gas station coffee and a bag of chips on the way home. switching to the bus forced me to slow down and actually eat a real lunch. my stomach feels way less angry and my head is clearer by noon. it's wild how much of our health is tied to these little daily patterns we don't even think about.

my stomach feels way less angry" - ha, i feel that. same thing happened to me when i stopped driving and took the train instead. the 20 minutes of walking to the station forced me to actually grab fruit or yogurt instead of whatever was in the vending machine. now i don't have that 3pm crash where i wanna nap under my desk. it's crazy how one change just dominoes into like ten other good habits you didn't even plan.
