Train door jammed between stops, conductor blamed me for existing

Riding the 7:15am Amtrak out of Richmond last Tuesday, the door between cars got stuck halfway open just past Ashland. Not scary, just annoying with the draft and everyone giving me dirty looks like I caused it. Crew spent 12 minutes fiddling with it while we sat there, and the conductor literally said 'some passengers have zero patience' over the intercom. I walked back to the cafe car to complain, and the guy working there told me this happens every few weeks and they just shrug it off. Got to work 40 minutes late, but honestly the delay was kind of peaceful once the panic wore off. Anyone else had a train crew treat a broken door like a normal Tuesday thing?
