Dropped $12 on a hands-free leash, and it either rescued my shoulder or made my dog walk me
Tried one of those waist clip leashes on our morning loop around Lake Merritt in Oakland last week after my elbow started aching from the regular one. It mostly worked, but the second a squirrel ran by, my dog turned it into a 60 pound sled pull. Has anyone found a waist setup that actually holds up, or should I just go back to the old leash?

Oh man that squirrel moment is so real, my shoulder hurts just reading it. Waist leashes sound good in theory until your dog finds something worth chasing. Hope your elbow feels better, and honestly going back to the old leash might save you the sled ride.
