Forgot my dog's poop bags and the walk took 45 minutes longer because of it.

Went on my usual loop around the park near my place in Austin last Tuesday. I had 2 bags on me but my dog decided to go 4 times that morning. Had to walk all the way back to the car to grab more then back to clean up each one. Anyone else ever been stuck without bags on a longer walk than you planned?

omg that happened to me last month in the rain lol. i had exactly 1 bag and my golden retriever decided to drop 3 logs in a row like some kind of protest. had to use a random receipt from my pocket for the third one and let me tell you that was not fun. now i keep a whole roll in my car and another in my coat just in case because i swear dogs know when you run out and they save up. sounds like your pup was testing your dedication that morning for sure.

@milaw14 I feel your pain on the receipt thing, that's a nightmare lol. What I do now is I keep an old plastic grocery bag stuffed with a whole roll of poop bags in my car door pocket and another one clipped to my leash with a carabiner. That way even if I forget to refill one I've got a backup. Also learned the hard way that if you're doing a loop trail you gotta have extra bags because dogs totally save it up when they know you're unprepared. Your walk sounds like a total workout though, 4 stops is brutal.
