My dog slipped his harness at a busy intersection and I had to chase him for 10 minutes
Ngl, last Tuesday around 5pm on Main Street my 2 year old beagle slipped out of his harness when a fire truck blasted its siren right next to us. He bolted across 3 lanes of traffic and I was screaming his name while cars slammed on brakes. I ended up ditching my coffee and sprinting after him, and this nice lady at the bus stop grabbed his leash when he ran past her. He was fine, just scared, and I walked home with a bloody knee from tripping on the curb. Has anyone tried a martingale collar or a different harness that actually holds a dog who backs out when spooked?
