That $90 rain jacket I bought lasted one walk before failing
I got caught in a downpour last month near the river trail and my old jacket soaked through in ten minutes, so I bought this fancy waterproof one for 90 bucks at the outdoor store. Second walk with it, same light drizzle, and the inside of my sleeves were wet, my phone got damp in the pocket, and my dog Max looked at me like I was the one who messed up. Anyone else gotten burnt by expensive gear that fails way too fast, or am I just unlucky with whatever I pick?

Joel_hall17 is right, even my $14 dog bed fell apart last month, seems like everything's built cheap now.
