Can we talk about my 6am alarm habit falling apart after daylight saving?
My whole morning routine broke when the clocks changed last Sunday and I slept through three alarms in a row, so now I'm wondering if anyone else had to reset their wake-up habit from scratch or found a trick that actually stuck.
Did you try setting your alarm for 10 minutes earlier each day instead of jumping straight to 6am? That gradual thing worked way better for me than just white-knuckling it.
I read somewhere that your body clock adjusts by about an hour a day at most, so small steps really are the way to go @grace89. Jumping straight to a big change just shocks your system and you end up tired and grumpy for a week. Taking it slow seems boring but it sticks way better in my experience.
