PSA: quit checking my phone first thing, swapped it for 10 minutes of stretching and my neck stopped hurting
For two years my morning routine was grab phone, scroll in bed for 30 minutes, then wonder why my neck and shoulders ached by 10am. Three weeks ago I made myself pick between the phone and 10 minutes of stretching before I get up, and I went with the stretching. The first four days were rough because my hand kept reaching for the phone on the nightstand out of pure habit. Now my neck pain is mostly gone and I actually feel awake before I even hit the coffee. Anyone else swap a phone habit for something physical in the morning, and how long before the urge to grab it went away?
