That $30 bamboo dish drying rack was a total lie
Bought a fancy bamboo dish rack from Target six months ago. Looked great in the photos. After two weeks it started molding in the crevices. $30 down the drain. Now I'm back to a plain plastic rack that actually dries without mildew. Anyone found a rack that doesn't rot?

Used to think the price tag meant quality with those bamboo racks. Saw them all over Instagram, thought they looked way better than my old plastic one. Bought one from a different brand, same exact thing happened. After a few months the wood started cracking and getting these dark spots. Plastic just works better for wet stuff honestly. Idk why companies keep pushing bamboo for kitchens when it clearly cant handle moisture.
