Vent: everyone says practice every single day and my 10 minute sketch streak flopped hard
I pushed myself to draw daily for 30 days straight and my work honestly got worse because I was just rushing to tick a box before bed. The one piece I actually liked came from a single 2 hour session on a Sunday, not from the streak. Anyone else find that a rest day does more for their art than forcing it?
Watched my buddy grind guitar scales every single day for a year and he stalled out completely, then took two weeks off and came back playing better than ever. Sometimes the brain just needs to sit with stuff instead of cramming more in.
