Had a laugh when I walked into my local hardware store this morning

I stopped by Ace Hardware on 5th street to grab some PVC fittings and saw they moved the entire plumbing section over by the paint. Stood there for a solid two minutes looking at lightbulbs before an old employee named Frank pointed me in the right direction. We both cracked up about how they change the layout every few months like it's a chess game. Anyone else have a store near them that loves rearranging stuff for no reason?

Every few months like it's a chess game" - wow, that's actually insane. My local True Value does the same thing and I swear they hire a new layout person every spring just to mess with us. Does Frank at least give you a heads up when they're about to switch things around again?

and that's the thing, @lopez.quinn, it feels like gaslighting but for hardware stores. Frank doesn't warn anyone, he just shows up one Tuesday with a pallet jack and a look of pure mischief. It's like they're trying to keep us on our toes, or maybe it's some weird psychology experiment. You walk in for a single screw and suddenly you're lost in the plumbing aisle, questioning your life choices. Same thing happens at the grocery store when they move the salsa three aisles over for no reason. It's all just part of this grand conspiracy to keep us humble, I guess.

Frank pulled the same stunt last week, now I can't find the lightbulbs.
