Hot take: I tracked every dad joke I told for 30 days and the number actually stunned me
I keep a little notebook in my truck and started marking a tally every time I dropped a groaner on my crew or my kids. After 30 days I hit 87 jokes, and 61 of them got the same fake laugh from my foreman Ray, who I now realize is just being polite. What got me is that only 9 landed a real snort, and every single one of those was an accident, not a joke I planned. So is the real trick just saying dumb stuff and hoping, or do I need better material?
