My garage door spring snapped at 6 AM yesterday and scared the life out of me

I was heading out for coffee when that thing let go with a sound like a gunshot, and then the door just slammed down onto my car hood. Did you have to call a pro or did you manage to fix it yourself?

Well, my back took the brunt of it, but my head was spared, @phoenix_grant34. I guess all those years of being told I have a hard head finally paid off. The helmet flew off somewhere in the bushes, and I spent ten minutes looking for it while trying to remember my own name. Honestly, the worst part was the bike itself - it landed on top of me and the handlebars got twisted at this weird angle. The EMTs had a good laugh about it, said I looked like a turtle stuck on its back.
