My grandma's recipe card had one line that unlocked everything
I've been baking her apple pie for years and it always came out flat and soggy. Last week I finally read the tiny note at the bottom that said 'roll the top crust thin, but not too thin, then chill it for 20 minutes before baking.' That single line fixed a decade of sad pies, so now I'm wondering what other faded kitchen secrets people have found buried in old family recipes?

Funny how one little line can quietly change everything, glad you finally found it.

That line was a game changer for me too, took way too long to see it.
