My office chair gave up mid-zoom call with the CEO last Tuesday

I was sitting there talking about quarterly numbers when the entire gas cylinder just exploded under me, sending me like three inches lower with a loud hiss. My coworker Steve started laughing so hard he muted himself, but I could see him shaking on camera. Has anyone else had a piece of furniture just completely betray them at the worst possible moment?
