That $8 spice grinder from Target fixed my stale coffee problem
Got tired of pre-ground going flat after 3 days. Bought a cheap electric grinder on a whim and now I grind fresh every morning. Never knew whole beans could taste that much better. Anyone else do the same or am I late to the game?

The $8 ones are honestly great for the money. My wife got one a couple years back and it's still kicking, just have to be careful not to run it too long or it smells like burning plastic (not ideal for morning coffee).

Ha, @bell.felix that burning plastic smell really adds that certain je ne sais quoi to the morning routine. I've definitely choked down my fair share of questionable coffee just because I didn't want to admit the $8 special was a bad call.
