Went to an indoor market and saw a lady selling vintage Tupperware lids only

So I popped into this indoor flea market up in Manchester last Saturday, and there was a whole booth with just Tupperware lids from the 70s and 80s. All different colors, no bowls in sight. It made me think about how stuff used to last forever, now we toss containers if the lid cracks. Has anyone else noticed random niche collectors popping up at your local markets?

Yeah it's wild how we stopped fixing stuff and just buy new now.

Wait, wasn't Tupperware mostly a 50s and 60s thing, not really taking off until later? Those colored lids you saw were probably from the late 60s or early 70s at best, not the 70s and 80s. It's still wild someone built a whole business around just lids, though.

Tupperware had a huge second life in the 70s and 80s with those pastel lids, though.
