Got burned on a 'vintage' coffee mug that arrived chipped
I traded a nice hardcover book for this retro 90s mug I saw on here, but when it showed up the handle had a hairline crack and it leaked coffee all over my desk. Cost me $15 in shipping to send it back and I'm out a good book. Anyone have tips for spotting damage in swap photos before committing?

That $15 return shipping and the book loss stings a bit sure, but its just a mug. How many cups of coffee does a person really need out of one specific vintage mug before it stops mattering? Maybe just ask for a close-up of the handle next time and save the drama for a real problem.

I mean, is it really just a mug though? I used to be all 'it's just a thing, get over it' but honestly, I had a vintage cup chip on me after I bought it and I was way more bummed than I expected. So yeah, I get it now, sometimes the small stuff matters more than you think it will.
