Lost $50 on a fake luxury bag from a swap meet, buyers beware
Went to a swap meet in Austin last Saturday, saw a 'designer' handbag for $80, talked them down to $50 thinking I got a steal. Got it home and the zipper broke on the first use, inside tag says 'made in a basement' lol. Should've checked the stitching on the spot, it was all uneven. Anyone else get burned on fake gear from these events, or do you have tips for spotting fakes before you hand over cash?
