My old bread maker got a second life after a 2 dollar fix

Picked up a dusty bread machine at a yard sale last month for 5 bucks, but the paddle was stuck and the belt was slack. After watching a repair video and swapping in a generic belt from the hardware store for 2 dollars, it cranked out a perfect loaf on the very first try. Anyone else rescued a dead appliance from the swap pile and got it working again?
