Spent $60 on a bread maker from a garage sale, it sat in my closet for a year

I found this fancy bread maker at a garage sale in Austin last spring for $60 and thought I was getting a steal. Brought it home, made one loaf that turned out like a brick, and then it just sat in my closet collecting dust. Yesterday I finally hauled it to the swap table at the community center and traded it for a decent cast iron skillet. But think about it, I basically paid $60 for a year of feeling guilty every time I saw that box. My neighbor tried the same thing with an air fryer she bought new for $80 and never used once. Has anyone else dumped money on kitchen gadgets that just became clutter? What did you manage to trade them for in the end?
