The guy mailing me old paperbacks out of his garage in Omaha turned out to be straight up
I saw a listing for 40 old paperbacks for $12 shipped and honestly figured it was a scam or someone dumping moldy junk. Turns out a retired teacher in Omaha was clearing his garage, and he packed all 40 in a flat rate box with a note about which ones his wife had loved. Three had water stains but the rest were clean, and two of them are now on my keeper shelf. He even threw in a spare copy when one spine split in the mail. Has anyone else had a deal go way better than it looked?
