Fought a seized injector for 3 hours on a Freightliner Cascadia outside Phoenix

Had to pull the head because that 30mm socket twisted the injector body into a pretzel, anyone else run into these rust-welded injectors on pre-DEF trucks?

3 hours is light work, torch on full blast makes those pop right out.

Have you actually tried holding a torch on one spot for 3 hours straight? My wrist cramps up after 20 minutes. I spread the heat around more careful-like and they still come out clean, just takes a bit longer maybe 4 hours. Torch on full blast risks cracking the base if you're not paying attention.

Wait, isn't holding the torch steady on one spot actually WAY more efficient since you're not wasting heat moving around? I gotta side with @alicehernandez on this one, full blast is the only way to get those deep-seated weeds to surrender quickly.
