Showerthought: I was cleaning out my old toolbox from my first rig in '08 and found a set of feeler gauges that were basically new. Realized I haven't touched them in maybe 7 years because everything's got a sensor now.

Less fiddling" is fine until the sensor goes out and you're stuck waiting for a part. I'd rather have the gauges and know the actual gap than trust a black box that costs ten times as much to fix.

Honestly, that sounds like a win. Less fiddling around with tiny metal strips.
