Wait, you got a 2020 DEF injector to work without replacing the whole unit? What did you even do, hit it with a heat gun or something? Those things are such a pain, I usually just give up and order the new part. You gotta tell us the trick, this is killing me.

Seriously, don't even bother with the heat gun. I mean, I tried that once and just made things worse. What actually worked for me was taking it off, soaking the tip in that DEF fluid itself overnight. The next day, I used one of those plastic dental cleaning picks to gently scrape out the gunk from the tiny hole. After that, a few blasts with an air compressor and it clicked right back in. It's been fine for months now.

Honestly, why would you just give up and buy a new one right away? I've had good luck just pulling the injector and giving it a long soak in some hot distilled water, then blowing it out with low pressure air. The crystals clogging it are water soluble, so sometimes you can clear it without any heat. It's saved me a few hundred bucks more than once.
