Been on here since 2018 and the quality of digital art portfolios has gotten insane
I was scrolling through old posts from 4 years ago and compared to what people are showing off now the improvement in technique and rendering is just wild, what do you think shifted the most - better tools or just more people learning?

Nine times out of ten when I look at new posts now I just marvel at the lighting work. It used to be so flat and now its like people are shooting real photos with their brushes. I think the learning curve finally flattened out for everyone.
