Finally fixed my jagged line problem with a 4 cent pixel grid trick
I've been fighting jagged edges on my digital sketches in Krita for about 6 weeks and nothing I did looked smooth. Last Tuesday I set my canvas to 4000x4000 and turned on a 50% opacity pixel grid overlay, then zoomed to 800% and drew at that level. It sounds stupid but seeing every single pixel made me stop overcorrecting and my lines came out way cleaner at normal zoom. Exported a 500x500 crop and posted it to my art Discord and three people asked what brush I used. Anyone else found that zooming in way past normal actually helps instead of hurts?
