My tablet pen pressure went dead after 2 years and I almost tossed it

I was so ready to blame Wacom for my lines looking garbage lately, turns out the nib was worn down to nothing. I popped a fresh nib in yesterday and my strokes came back like magic, never even thought to check that. Learned my lesson, gonna swap nibs every 6 months now even if they feel fine. Anybody else forget about the little stuff like that?

Man, this is way too relatable. A buddy of mine was about to throw out his whole iPad because the stylus was acting weird, turns out the tip was just super loose and he never thought to check. He tightened it a quarter turn and everything was perfect again, felt like such a dummy. We always blame the expensive gear first when it's the cheap part we ignore.

Oh man, same here. I once replaced a whole mouse before checking the batteries.

Three years as a warehouse supervisor taught me to always check the simplest fixes first. One time our whole inventory scanner system went down, had everyone panicking about rebooting servers and calling IT. Turned out someone had kicked the power strip under the desk and the scanner base just needed to be plugged back in. Took me thirty seconds to fix what everyone else was ready to spend hours on.
