Pro tip: That $15 brush pack from Amazon wrecked my tablet screen
I bought a 10 pack of cheap stylus nibs and a cleaning brush for my drawing tablet last month. The brush had rough bristles that left micro scratches all over the surface after just two uses. I had to spend $45 on a replacement screen protector kit to fix the damage. Has anyone else had cheap accessories ruin their gear?

Wait, did you try using it as a weapon before realizing it was for cleaning? Honestly though, cheap brushes always seem like a scam, they're either too soft to do anything or stiff enough to sand down your desk. I learned that lesson the hard way with a pack that claimed to be "ultra soft" but felt more like wire.

That cheap brush tricked you good. Bristles that stiff should come with a warning label. Learned my lesson with dollar store stylus pens that felt like dragging a rock across glass.

Oh man, I feel your pain so much! My first cheap brush adventure was with a set of "professional" acrylic brushes from a discount bin, and the bristles literally started shedding within five minutes. They left little plastic hairs all over my painting, like some kind of terrible confetti. I actually tried to use one for applying glue later (desperate times) and it just crumbled against the paper. It's such a bummer when you think you're getting a deal, but you just get a headache (and maybe some scratched up surfaces).
