Spent 3 hours trying to fix a layer shift issue in Blender that was just a loose belt

I was about to junk my whole print after the third failed calibration cube. Kept adjusting speeds and temperatures. Finally checked the hardware and the belt tensioner was barely hand tight. Five seconds with a hex key fixed everything. Makes me wonder how many other "software problems" are really just loose screws in real life.

Man what other loose bits are you ignoring right now?

Oh man, that hit close to home. I was just tightening a loose bolt on my desk chair last week and realized I'd been ignoring a weird rattle from the back of my car for like three months. Turns out it was a loose license plate holder, but I convinced myself it was fine because the screw wasn't falling out (yet). Now I'm wondering what else I'm just letting rattle around in the background of my life, you know?
