Unpopular opinion: that $45 "pro" brush pack was 12 brushes and a bunch of blurry JPEGs
So back in March I got suckered by one of those Instagram ads for a mega brush pack for Procreate. The ad showed all this amazing painterly work, glowing lighting, the whole deal, and it was $45 which felt like a steal for "300 plus brushes." I paid, downloaded the file, and it was 12 actual brushes and like 290 PNGs of paint splatter that were so low res you could see the pixel blocks. Three of the "brushes" were just the same round brush with the size changed, I swear. I went back to the seller's page and every single comment praising it was from accounts with no posts and a stock photo profile pic. Learned my lesson the hard way, check for actual brush files with real settings before you hand over money. Has anyone found a brush pack that was actually worth paying for, or is free stuff from the community always the way to go?

Tbh my buddy dropped like $60 on a similar pack last year and half of it was just the same brush with the opacity turned down, he was so mad. The ones that hold up are usually from artists who actually show the brush settings in a video before you buy, not just pretty finished pieces. Free packs from known artists got me way further than anything I ever paid for.
