Update: My old Wacom tablet from 2012 finally gave up the ghost last Tuesday, right in the middle of a big commission.
I mean, I had to finish the linework with my mouse, which took like three extra hours and made my hand cramp up, but has anyone else had an old piece of gear die at the worst possible moment?

Honestly, it feels like tech has a sixth sense for picking the worst time to break. My laptop fan gave out right before a huge file transfer last month, and my car battery died on the way to a job interview once. It's never when you're just messing around, it's always during something important. Makes you wonder if they're built that way on purpose.
