Vent: My drawing tablet pen stopped working right in the middle of a live art stream
I was doing a Procreate speedpaint for a local artist showcase last Saturday and the stylus just started jumping all over the screen... turns out the nib had worn down way more than I thought. I had to grab an old backup pen from 3 years ago that barely works, has anyone else had a stylus fail mid-project like that?

Keep a few extra nibs in your pen case at all times, they're cheap and wear down faster than you'd expect. I always have a backup stylus on the charging dock too, never know when the main one is gonna go. When the nib starts feeling scratchy or the cursor gets jittery, swap it out before the next session. Live streams are stressful enough without hardware giving out on you.

My Wacom nib once snapped off completely during a client call at 2AM.

Why would you be working on a client call at 2AM with a stylus that's about to break... seems like you should have seen that coming.
