Wasted $60 on a 'pro' digital art brush pack that was just stolen freebies

I bought this big brush set from some random site called ArtMasterPro for digital painting. Turns out it was just a rehash of free Kyle Brush packs they ripped off. Lost $60 and got nothing new I couldn't have grabbed for free. Anyone else get scammed by those shady brush bundle sites?

My buddy Marcus dropped $45 on a "premium" texture pack for his comic pages and it was literally just the default Photoshop brushes renamed. He found out because the file names still had the old Adobe preview icons in them. Poor guy learned the hard way to stick with known sites like ArtStation or the official Kyle packs.

That reminds me of a buddy of mine who spent like $30 on a "pro fantasy brush set" off some random site and it was literally just the default Kyle brushes that come free with Photoshop. He only figured it out when he checked the brush tip shapes and they were all labeled "Kyle_1" and "Kyle_2" in the settings. I mean, it's crazy what people try to pass off as premium these days. Maybe it's just me but I always check the preview images super close now before I buy anything. Like if the sample strokes look too perfect or generic, it's probably a scam.
