Why does nobody tell you to normalize your canvas before rendering, not after
I posted a 4000px canvas render of a cyberpunk alley in a Discord server back in March and a guy said my line art looked "soft and muddy" which stung at first, but he was right, I had been rendering everything at full res and scaling down at the very end. Now I flatten and resize to 2x final size before I touch a single light pass, and my edges stay crisp without any sharpening filter nonsense. Anyone else got a workflow step you changed after somebody's blunt feedback, or am I the only one who learned this the hard way?
