Hit 1,200 clicks from one blog post and it wasn't the SEO plugin that did it
I write for a small flooring blog on the side and last week I checked my stats and one post had 1,200 clicks from Google in a single month. The weird part is I had been messing with every SEO plugin I could install for six months and nothing moved. What actually did it was going back and rewriting the first paragraph to answer the exact question in the title. I also added a small table with the 3 prices people keep searching for in my area. Took me maybe 40 minutes total. So now I'm sitting here wondering if I've been overthinking the tools this whole time. Has anyone else had a plain text edit beat a paid plugin?
