PSA: That "quick email template" took me 6 hours to build

I thought I could just throw together a quick email sequence for our launch in about an hour. Six hours later I was still debugging merge tags and mobile rendering. The problem was testing across Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail - each one broke something different. Definitely humbled me on how long proper email setup actually takes. Anyone else underestimate email tool setup time like this?

quick email template" - I always budget a full day minimum for email setups because the testing phase always takes way longer than you expect. Learning each platform's quirks upfront saves more time than rushing it.

Yeah the testing phase is the real beast. I've had setups where I thought everything was good, but then the mobile rendering broke in Outlook and the buttons disappeared on Gmail. What's your process for checking rendering across all those different clients and devices? I still feel like I'm missing some edge cases.
