Threw $150 down the drain on a fancy email automation tool last quarter
I signed up for this all-in-one platform that promised to handle sequencing, A/B testing, and lead scoring in one place. Turns out the lead scoring was completely broken and their support just kept sending me links to outdated help articles. After three weeks of fighting with it, I realized I could get better results just using Mailchimp's free plan and a spreadsheet. Has anyone else gotten burned by a tool that looked great in the demo but fell apart in real use?

$150 for a broken lead scoring system? Man, that stings. I can't believe they kept pointing you to outdated help articles instead of actually fixing the problem. I've had that same thing happen where support just copies and pastes links instead of reading your actual issue. It's almost like they know the feature is broken and are just hoping you give up. I tried a tool once that had a slick demo with fake data, but when I plugged in my real customer list everything glitched out. Sorry you went through that, it makes you feel like an idiot for falling for the sales pitch.

Classic sales demo bait and switch, they show you a Ferrari and hand you a broken go-kart.
