Appreciation post: My before-and-after co-working space switch in Chiang Mai

I spent 6 months at a cheap co-working spot in Chiang Mai for $80 a month. My internet dropped 3 times a day, and the AC barely worked. Last month I moved to a place that costs $150 a month, and everything changed. Now I get 200mbps fiber, cold air, and free coffee all day. My productivity jumped from 3 hours of real work to 6 hours easy. Has anyone else seen a huge difference just from switching where you work? What city had the biggest jump for you?

Was anyone else skeptical that a better workspace could matter that much?

Yeah I saw some study a while back that claimed better lighting and airflow actually boosted productivity like 15 percent or something. Seemed like fluff to me at first, but after rearranging my own setup I can see how it might be real.
