Blew $600 on a coworking pass in Lisbon and barely used it
I got a monthly pass at a coworking spot in Lisbon for $200 a month, paid for 3 months upfront, and I probably sat there 6 times total. The wifi at my Airbnb was actually fine and the cafe downstairs had better coffee anyway. I thought having a "real desk" would fix my focus but it just meant I paid to sit near strangers who took loud calls all day. The kicker is they charged me a $50 deposit for a key card I still have in my bag somewhere. If you're new to a city, maybe try a day pass first instead of going all in like I did. Did anyone else buy a membership somewhere and just never show up?
