Found a quiet coworking space in Chiang Mai for $150 a month
I landed in Chiang Mai last month hoping to work from cafes, but the noise got to me after three days. A local friend pointed me to a small coworking spot near the old city that charges $150 a month for a desk and solid wifi. It's run by a retired teacher who keeps the place at 20 people max. I've been going there for four weeks now and my output doubled compared to cafes. The trick was asking expats on a Facebook group instead of searching Google. Has anyone else found hidden gems like this in other cities?

Did you find the place through the Thai expat Facebook group too? That's where I snagged my spot in Da Nang for $120 a month with fiber optic internet. Feels like you have to dig through local chatter to find the real deals instead of the tourist traps.

But isn't Da Nang supposed to be in Vietnam, not Thailand like the original post was about? lol. @the_linda mentioned fiber optic too, taylor.sean you might be mixing up your conversations a bit.

Oh nice, that Da Nang spot sounds like a steal. Fiber optic for $120 is basically a cheat code if you're doing anything with video calls or big file uploads. I think the real trick is once you find one solid place, the locals running it usually know about two or three other hidden spots that never show up on Google Maps or coworking listing sites.
